Plinko is Spribe's 2020 adaptation of the legendary ball-drop game from TV game shows. A ball is released from the top of a triangular peg pyramid; as it falls it bounces randomly off the pegs until it lands in one of several multiplier slots at the bottom. The centre slots pay small amounts (often less than the stake, acting as a soft loss), while the edge slots pay the biggest multipliers.
What gives Plinko its depth is that you control the math shape. Choose between 8 and 16 rows of pegs and pick one of three risk levels โ Low, Medium or High. Low risk keeps all slots at modest multipliers (no slot pays below about 0.5x) but caps the edges at modest values. High risk places 0.0xโ0.2x "loss" slots in the middle while pushing the outer slots up to 555x on 16 rows.
It's a beautifully transparent game: the probability of landing in each slot follows a binomial/normal distribution centered on the middle, so you can see exactly how rare the edge multipliers are.
